Penny’s Story

Penny was just out of this world extraordinary, there really is no true way to describe who she was and what she meant to me and my family. She was in every sense of the word, my first child. My little baby. My soulmate. She was my best friend and was with me though some of the most pivotal points of my life and she handled it with such grace. She would never turn down an adventure or food whether it be 4 wheeling down a mountain pass or floating the river, not even a 6 mile hike would slow her down. She loved to ride in my old pick up truck and now every time I drive it I like to think she’s riding shotgun still, just like she used to do. She loved sunbathing, car shows, hikeing, eating anything she could, car rides, warm laundry and naps with momma. She helped me navigate a terrible postpartum and was such a wonderful support in a lonely time. I don’t know if I’ll ever recover. To my sweet golden girl, Mommy loves you Penny, forever and always.
