Nikki’s Story
Nikki was my first fur baby. She came into my life as a gift from my parents when I was 21, just one month old, and it was love at first sight. From that day forward, we did everything together.
She was a princess, and she knew it. Feisty, a fighter, funny, smart, my protector, and most of all, loving. A little Yorkie Chihuahua mix with a personality bigger than she was, and sixteen years were not enough of her.
Nikki was there for me through everything. Both of my parents are no longer living, and she helped me through losing each of them. The same little dog they gave me was the one who got me through saying goodbye to them. That is a debt you can never explain to someone who hasn’t had a dog like her.
She left us on September 19, 2026, after sixteen years of love. Nikki was one of a kind, and I know exactly how lucky I was to be hers.
She was my soul dog. I will never find another one like her.
