Cali’s Story

Cali was and is the love of my life. She was my four paw daughter, my dream come true, and losing her has been my worst nightmare. She was everything to me, and she still is. I love her with all my heart and will for the rest of my life. This love is so big it’s almost impossible to describe or put into words.

Cali was the sweetest. The cutest. So intelligent and so funny. She loved people, and she was so careful and gentle around children, always wanting to give them kisses. She loved playing ball and was the best at it. She had so much energy that everyone thought she was a baby. She loved food of every kind, especially ours. She was the best at keeping me company. The purest love.

Eight years seem like so little, and life without her is so sad. But how much sadder it would have been if she had never come into my life. So this grief, no matter how much it hurts, is a reminder of that love and the consequence of it. It was a privilege to have her in my life, and I will honor her for as long as I walk this earth.

Forever my baby. My angel. My biggest love. I’m counting the days until we reunite. Until then, I’ll keep saying her name, thinking of her and telling stories about her.
