Bobi’s Story
Bobi was amazing. That’s the first thing anyone should know about him. For sixteen years, this little Pekingese filled our home with laughter, and he always knew exactly how to bring it out of me. Some dogs are pets. Bobi was a best friend who happened to fit in your lap.
Some of my favorite memories are from when I was little, out in the snow together. Bobi would run all over, back and forth through the white, playing with me until we were both worn out. We grew up side by side, and he turned ordinary winter days into the ones I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
You always knew when something he liked was on the table, because the whole house heard about it. Bobi barked for the food he loved with everything he had, and it usually worked. How do you say no to a face like that?
Bobi grew old with us, sixteen full years of love. At the end he was tired and in pain, and even one last treatment couldn’t give us more time. He left us on July 17, 2026, but the laughter he gave us stays.
He was an angel here, and now he is an angel in Heaven.

Bobi’s family would like to thank his veterinarian, Cătălin Funieru, who took care of Bobi every time he had a problem, from the time he was a little puppy all the way to his final moments. At the end, he tried one last treatment, but Bobi was old and in pain, and there was nothing more anyone could have done. Sixteen years of health and happiness are a testament to his care.
